Student materials

The program requires very little student materials but I have included links to several suggested resources to use as needed.

Here’s a Helpful List of Links

  1. The UFLI manual is a comprehensive manual that serves as your primary guide for instruction and provides detailed explanations of the program’s methodology, scope, and sequence.
  2. Go to the Toolbox on UFLI website, scroll down to the lessons which gives the option of opening with Google Slides or Power Point. These interactive slides provide visual support and engaging activities to reinforce phonics concepts.
  3. The Decodable Text Guide assists you in selecting decodable texts that align with the phonics skills covered in each lesson, allowing students to practice their newly acquired reading skills.
  4. The Correlation Chart helps you determine the appropriate starting point in the program based on your students’ current reading levels.
  5. The CORE Phonics Screener is an assessment tool identifies your students’ specific phonics needs and informs your instructional decisions.
  6. Laptop, Computer or Smart Board screen: A computer or electronic device with internet access is essential for accessing the program’s digital resources and materials. It is also important that the students can access the lessons.
  7. A Website Clicker will enable you to navigate seamlessly between online resources during instruction.
  8. Go to the Digtital Word Work Apps for word building instruction.
